🔶 Israel’s National Security Council warns of rising terrorist threats against Jews
Ahead of the start of Jewish holidays, Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) issued an updated warning about an increase in risks and terrorist threats against Israeli citizens and Jews around the world.
According to a statement released on Sunday, September 6 (Shahrivar 15) by the institution affiliated with the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, the Islamic Republic of Iran and its proxy groups, including Hamas and Hezbollah, along with the Islamic State (ISIS) and al-Qaeda, continue to have high motivation to target Israeli nationals and Jewish centers in different countries.
The Israeli NSC emphasized that recent military clashes in the region, together with incitement campaigns, have significantly increased the motivation of terrorist groups to carry out operations against Israeli and Jewish targets.
The statement also warned that the third anniversary of Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel could become a focal point for holding protest demonstrations involving violence and increasing efforts to organize terrorist attacks.
