🔻Iranian media: The situation in Kharg is calm

Earlier, we reported that Iranian media say the United States carried out a missile attack targeting an Iranian oil tanker near the island of Kharg.

Iranian and American official sources have not commented on this, but Iranian media say the situation in Kharg is calm.

ISNA news agency, or the broadcast of images from this island, said that there is no sign of fire or smoke around the island.

Tasnim News Agency had previously reported that the Iranian tanker was six miles (about 11 kilometers) from the island of Kharg at the time of the attack.
