According to Tasnim News Agency, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy said in a statement on Saturday that it had targeted three oil tankers that were passing through “unauthorized routes in the Strait of Hormuz,” as well as three other American vessels in other areas.

The U.S. has not yet commented on these IRGC attacks.

In the statement, the IRGC Navy referred to the targeting of three Iranian oil tankers by American forces this morning and said that these attacks caused damage.

Previously, CENTCOM, the U.S. Central Command, announced that American forces attacked three Iranian oil tankers on Saturday, including a tanker near the shores of Kharg Island, which is considered the main hub of Iran’s oil exports.
