Egypt and Jordan foreign ministers condemned attacks by the Islamic Republic on Jordan’s soil in a phone call.
Based on a statement by Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty and Ayman Safadi discussed regional developments on Sunday, July 19, and ways to reduce tensions and restore security and stability.
Abdelatty announced Egypt’s full solidarity with Jordan and supported all actions by this country to safeguard its security and sovereignty. He firmly rejected any attack that would affect the security and sovereignty of Arab states.
The two ministers stressed the immediate halt to all military actions that would expand the scope of the conflict, and the priority of political and diplomatic solutions.
