▪Human rights sources reported the death of Arfān Mīrzā’ī, a protester who had been arrested during the protests of Dey, in Handegard Prison in Isfahan.

▪The Committee for the Release of Political Prisoners in Iran confirmed the death of this protester, but said that different accounts have been published regarding the cause of Arfān Mīrzā’ī’s death.

▪According to the committee, some sources have reported the “secret execution of a death sentence,” while others claim that Arfān Mīrzā’ī committed suicide in the “Al-Qaṭā” security ward of Handegard Prison.
