The Israeli army said that forces from the 401st Brigade combat team and the Special Engineering Unit destroyed an underground route of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the village of Haddatha in the security area of southern Lebanon.
According to the statement, the length of the underground route was about 55 meters and would include three rooms for deployment. The route was built under a building materials manufacturing plant and at a distance of about 300 meters from the UNIFIL compound. In addition, within the area of these facilities, an underground shaft was discovered where dozens of weapons and munitions were stored.
The Israeli army emphasized that it will continue its activities to eliminate any threats to its forces and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli citizens.
