Britain’s Maritime Trade Operations Agency said a vessel in the waters of Oman caught fire.

Based on the warning issued by the agency, reports of the incident were received on Sunday night from military authorities, and the cause of the fire has not been confirmed so far. The agency advised ships to transit with caution and to report any suspicious activity.

The location of the incident was reported as the northernmost point of Oman’s Musandam Peninsula and at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz.
