With fighting continuing between Iran and the United States—which appears, in recent hours, to be on the verge of expansion and escalation amid at least one Saudi oil tanker being targeted by the Houthis in Yemen—oil prices in global markets are still rising.

On Thursday morning, Brent crude in the Northern market reached $96.20 in Asian markets.
