👈 Member of the Parliament presidium: We are not up against the auto mafia; the minister’s impeachment is also not a solution

Mohammad Rashidi, a member of the Parliament presidium, in an interview with the video media “Aon” said: Despite years of lawmaking to regulate the car market and liberalize vehicle imports, obstacles and heavy tariffs have still forced people to buy low-quality and expensive domestic cars.

“We tried for about seven years to fix this situation, but we state clearly that we have not managed to confront the auto mafia; even the impeachment of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade (Ṣamt) in the past did not produce any results in this regard.”
