🔺US intelligence assessment: Mojtaba Khamenei is seeking a nuclear warhead deployable on a missile

▪US intelligence agencies have reached the conclusion that the new leader of the Islamic Republic is far more inclined than his father to acquire nuclear weapons.

▪Based on a report by The New York Times, the US intelligence assessment says Mojtaba Khamenei and the hardline government that took shape after the killing of many of the previous leaders in attacks by the United States and Israel have ambitions for the development of advanced nuclear weapons. Mojtaba Khamenei has never publicly called for the construction of a nuclear weapon.

▪According to the new assessment, the new leader places little value on a deterrent atomic weapon and wants a warhead that can be miniaturized in the future and mounted on a long-range missile.
