U.S. Central Command said that, by Wednesday, Sept. 12, during Iran’s naval blockade, U.S. Army forces have rerouted the routes of 87 commercial ships, disabled three ships, and inspected two ships to ensure the full implementation of this blockade.

CENTCOM also published an image of a U.S. Navy sailor standing watch on the guided-missile destroyer “USS John Paul Jones” and announced that the destroyer continues to support the U.S. naval blockade against the Islamic Republic in the region’s waters.
