قالیباف, in response to threats and recent rhetoric by Pete Hegset, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, wrote on his social media account on the X platform:

It is simple and understandable: the oil and gas production chain in this region is extensive and dispersed, and it is accessible and vulnerable. The American oil and gas companies that operate in these waters and facilities are just as vulnerable.

If you attack our assets, you will be attacked in return. We have proven this ability before. Ask your non-operational military bases.
