🔶 Phone Call Between Erdoğan and Mohammed bin Zayed Over Escalation of Tensions Between Iran and the U.S.
According to news media, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, spoke in a telephone call with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates, about bilateral relations and regional and global developments, including the prevailing tension between Tehran and Washington.
In this telephone call, which took place on Friday, September 4 (Shahrivar 13), Erdoğan, while emphasizing Turkey’s efforts to end the current tensions in the region, stated that Ankara’s diplomatic initiatives in this direction will continue.
In his phone call with Mohammed bin Zayed, Erdoğan said that Ankara “will not tolerate attacks against friendly countries in the region.”
Erdoğan also emphasized the continuation of cooperation between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates in various fields, especially the defense industries and the economy, and added that the two countries will continue efforts to develop relations and increase this cooperation.
