Mohsen Rezaei, a military adviser to Mojtaba Khamenei, wrote in a post on X: “Attacking Shalamcheh and threatening attacks on infrastructure is nothing but desperation and helplessness. The Islamic Republic’s response to infrastructure attacks will be escalating and severe.”

Rezaei also wrote that the U.S. president, with lethal mistakes, has moved from “the game of a crazy man” to “the game of a desperate man.”
