Mohammad-Sadegh Azimi-Far, managing director of the National Iranian Oil Products Refining and Distribution Company, said that given the peak in consumption in Mordad and Shahrivar and the limitations created in production and imports, a stable supply of fuel is not possible without the cooperation of the public. He asked the people to help manage consumption by using public transportation, using fuel more efficiently, and reducing gasoline consumption.

Azimi-Far, speaking to reporters, said that if high consumption continues and restrictions on production and imports persist due to damage to facilities, new decisions may be adopted to preserve the stability of fuel supply. He added that any decision in this regard will be communicated to the public before being implemented, and the government will not surprise people.
