HRANA reported that intelligence agents of the Islamic Republic, with their presence at a private home in Kooy Mash’al in Ahvaz, “at least 10 Sunni Arab citizens were arrested.”

According to HRANA, these citizens had gathered at the home of one of their friends to hold a meeting, when local intelligence forces surrounded the place and, after entering the home, beat and arrested a number of those present.

Based on this report, the detainees were transferred to an undisclosed location.

HRANA wrote that, to date, the identities of three of the detainees have been confirmed: Razi Heydari, 50, Hossein Heydari, 29, and Abdolhadi Asakereh, 30, and the identities of other detained individuals are under investigation.
