Fellow Countrymen,
Once again, the Islamic Republic has placed the cost of its incompetence, corruption, and war-mongering on the shoulders of the Iranian people by raising the price of gasoline.
As I said in my message on 31 Mordad, raising fuel prices while people are under severe economic pressure is a cruel act and a betrayal of the Iranian nation.
To the tyrannical regime and its missing leader, I say: the poverty and economic pressure you have imposed on the people of Iran are the direct result of your destructive policies. The country’s resources belong to the Iranian people—not to fill the pockets of mafias, nor to finance terrorism and war-mongering. Return the plundered property of the nation and cut off support for terrorists.
Do not think that by killing tens of thousands of patriots you have been able to break the will of the people. The fire of people’s anger and protest has not gone out. A nation standing for freedom, prosperity, and a better future will not remain silent in the face of repression, corruption, incompetence, and the imposition of poverty.
Long live Iran, Reza Pahlavi
