Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, said Israel has been able to take parts of Lebanon, but, according to him, Lebanon will “raise its head again” and will deal “hard and painful” blows to Israel.

Rezaei, in an interview with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), said: “This time, a great wave of anger will be unleashed that will not allow anything from Israel to remain.” He added that Lebanon is not like Gaza, which “is surrounded from all sides” and has “backlines.”

Rezaei also said that, 48 hours ago, the Islamic Republic for the first time tested an “Iranian special and anti-destroyer” missile over an American warship and reserves the right to respond to what he called the “U.S. attack on a wedding ceremony in Khouestak.”
