Ahmad Alamolhoda, the Friday prayer leader in Mashhad, said that, on the order of Mojtaba Khamenei, four individuals who died as a result of a driving accident during the city’s night gatherings should be regarded as “martyrs” and that a “martyr’s file” be created for them.

The Mashhad Friday prayer leader added: “This is also among the favors and the demands of the Leader regarding these gatherings and the dear ones who make sacrifices in these gatherings.”

Earlier, it had been announced that the driver of a vehicle that collided with pro-government rally-goers and caused the deaths of four of them had suffered a vision problem in one of his eyes.
