🎥 A shopkeeper in Bandar Abbas has recounted the economic consequences after military clashes and heightened tensions in the days of 16 to 18 Tir in southern Iran, saying: “Businesses had just started to catch their breath, but with the events of the past few nights, everything was thrown off again.” Many business units in Bandar Abbas near the fishing-boat pier—including falafel shops, fruit sellers, supermarkets, and other stores—have faced a severe drop in customers, and some have even been forced to close. He says streets such as 22 Bahman, which have always been among the busiest parts of the city, are now unusually empty. A market that was even full of people on the last weekend nights today has no customers.
