US President Donald Trump's approval rating has fallen to a record low in a survey conducted for the Financial Times, with only 33% of US voters approving his performance, down from 35% a month ago.

Two-thirds believe the economy is moving in the wrong direction, 57% said his policies hurt their finances, and 56% oppose tariffs on Canada.
