Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia carried out one of its largest ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv last night.

According to him, more than 40 rockets of different types were fired in the attack, mainly toward Ukraine’s capital, and 120 drones were launched.

Zelensky said that so far, the deaths of one person and the injury of 16 people in Kyiv and its surrounding areas have been confirmed, and rescue operations are still ongoing.

He also called for the delivery of anti-ballistic air defense systems to Ukraine to be expedited.
