The Trump administration and the international community will not stand idly by as the Morillo-Ortega dictatorship intensifies repression inside the country and creates instability that threatens the national security of the United States. Ortega’s promise to cancel elections in Nicaragua shows that he is a coward and fears the will of the people of Nicaragua.
