⚡The International Energy Agency said that the member countries of this organization have released about 290 million barrels of oil from their reserves since 20 Esfand last year.

Based on a report by Reuters, in March this agency agreed to release an unprecedented 400 million barrels of oil from strategic reserves in order to curb a jump in global oil prices after the start of the war between the United States and Israel and the Islamic Republic.

This is the largest release of strategic reserves in the agency’s history.

Brent oil prices reached $91.42 per barrel on Monday. Goldman Sachs has warned that if disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue, this figure could rise above $120 by the fourth quarter.
