According to the statement by the head of the Civil Defense organization of Gaza City, at least 20 people were killed after a building—previously damaged during the war as a result of Israeli attacks—collapsed. Those people had taken shelter in this building.

On Wednesday, September 16 (Shahrivar 25), Gaza medics were searching for and clearing debris from the remains of a bombed building that collapsed during the night, and as a result, at least 20 Palestinians—including several children—were killed.

It has been reported that around 100 people are likely trapped under the rubble.

Raed al-Dahshan, head of the Civil Defense organization of Gaza City, said: “At least 10 families were living in this collapsed building, and there is still hope of finding survivors”.
