🔶 Reuters: Iran warned the United States about Israel’s attack on Ali al-Tahir heights in Lebanon

The Reuters news agency, citing three informed officials, wrote that Iran has warned the United States that it would respond decisively to Israel’s offensive attack on heights in southern Lebanon where Iranian military personnel are stationed alongside Hezbollah forces.

The message, which was delivered last month, indicates Iran’s direct and ongoing presence in ground battles in southern Lebanon and its readiness to retaliate for Israeli attacks in the area, as the regional war enters its seventh month.

According to Lebanese security sources, it is believed that Hezbollah has built an underground command center and a weapons manufacturing store in the Ali al-Tahir heights; a region that has full control over the southeastern part of Lebanon and has become one of the most disputed locations in the Israel–Hezbollah war.

According to these three regional officials, who spoke with Reuters on the condition that their names not be disclosed, Tehran, in its message to Washington, threatened that any large-scale offensive attack by Israel on these heights would be met with a broad Iranian response and onslaught.
