🔶 Pentagon says 100 U.S. military personnel were injured following recent Iran attacks

In response to a New York Times report, Sean Parnell, a Pentagon spokesperson, said in a post on the X network that, since July 7, about 100 U.S. military personnel have been injured as a result of Iran’s airstrikes on U.S. bases in the Middle East.

According to him, these service members suffered “some degree of injury,” and 96 percent of them have returned to duty. He said that the bulk of the injuries sustained by U.S. service members were “mild traumatic brain injuries,” and wrote that they “are determined to return to the field.”

Earlier, the New York Times newspaper had claimed that the Pentagon has not reported dozens of cases of U.S. personnel being injured during the war with Iran and has declined to disclose statistics on this.

CNN also reported on Monday, July 20 (July 29), that the U.S. Army acted with a delay in informing about the injuries of its troops, and that the purpose of this delay was to protect military personnel.
