On the 47th anniversary of the death of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, a number of Iranians in Melbourne, Australia, paid tribute to him by holding a ceremony and planting an Iranian cypress.

This cypress was planted by two relatives of the victims of the National Revolution of Iran, and the organizers described it as a symbol of Iranian resolve and perseverance.
