Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the head of the parliament, said in a meeting with Ali Faleh al-Zaydi, the prime minister of Iraq, that Israel is “the number one enemy of Muslims” and added that cooperation between the Islamic Republic and Iraq to preserve the unity of Islamic countries in confronting Israel will undoubtedly be effective.

Ghalibaf also said that cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad will have an impact on regional stability and Islamic countries, and that the two countries, by working together, can solve many regional problems.
