Nitsana Darshan-Leitner, an Israeli jurist and human rights activist, believes the Islamic Republic will not stop fighting because of the ideological nature of its system. According to her, the only way to achieve victory and put an end to this cycle is to change the government through a popular uprising in Iran, not through foreign intervention or military action.
