🔻Hojjat Karimi, the CEO of Tractor, said on a program on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Broadcasting that Shojaat Khalilzadeh, the captain of Tractor, “made excuses/got poetic and said, why didn’t you let something happen on the stands.” He had previously said that before the match he had told the leaders to refrain from insulting the players of their opponents.
🔹He also, regarding the release of the audio file of the insults by Khodadad Azizi against Ehsan Ailishah, said: “You had no right to broadcast such a sound to upset the public and make society’s situation worse in these conditions. We were told that if those insults were given to someone, we would deal with it.”
🔹Karimi said: “The person who recorded and released the audio has made society’s situation worse. They’ve taken away the person’s honor—why don’t you think about the person’s honor. You ruined a national player of our country whom we have good memories with.”
🔹The Tractor CEO, regarding the ruling by the disciplinary committee for Khodadad Azizi, said: “What does that mean? That we should not let Khodadad into the stadiums? Is this ruling correct?”
