🔸 Global oil prices rise on Monday, 16 Shahrivar with the start of trading in

🔸 The upward trend in global oil prices on Monday, 16 Shahrivar, at the start of trading for the new week, increased, and Brent crude was traded in Asian markets at nearly $97.5 per barrel, up by more than one percent compared with the last working day.

🔸 The price of American oil, known as West Texas Intermediate, also rose by a similar amount to reach $92.37 per barrel.

🔸 Global oil prices have risen by nearly eight percent over the past week.

🔸 The new increase in global oil prices comes following the United States’ attack on three Iranian oil tankers and Iran’s reaction in announcing a new restricted area in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf.
