🔻The funeral ceremony for Javad Mojabi, writer, poet, humorist, painter and journalist, was held on Wednesday, 18 Shahrivar, with the presence of a number of figures from the literary and cultural world, from in front of his home in Noysندگان’ Quarter in Tehran.

Among those present were Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, Asdollah Amraei, Ali Akbar Heidari, Cyrus Ali Nejad, Yegma Golرویی, Hossein Sanapour, Mohammad Ebrahimian, Pari Maleki, Asghar Hekmat, Zeynab Kazemkhowah, Hafez Mousavi, Pejman Mousavi, Mohammad Qasemzadeh, Abbas Abdі, Omіd Bahbahani, Abolhasan Tehamі, Mohammad Ali Jafarye, Faridun Amouzade Khalili and Leili Rashidi.

He was one of the well-known figures in contemporary Iranian literature and art, who worked in various fields, including literature, visual arts, journalism, and art criticism.

Javad Mojabi published, in total, more than 50 works in various formats, including poetry, short stories, novels, satire, plays, screenplays and research.

After a period of illness, he died on 14 Shahrivar 1405, at the age of 87.
