🔸 Dana Carari, a dual citizen, arrived in the United States; Iran denies it
Dana Carari, an Iranian-American dual citizen, arrived in the United States after more than a year and a half in detention.
Her lawyer, Jared Genser, on Sunday morning, 28 Tir, announced that Carari had entered the United States by posting a photo of Dana Carari on the X social media platform, and wrote: “Welcome home.”
Genser referred to his client’s 566 days of unjust detention and added: “We are grateful to everyone who made this day possible, whether known or unknown. Now we must redouble our efforts to secure the freedom of all other American dual citizens!”
A few days ago, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, announced that an American citizen who had been imprisoned unfairly and unjustly during the presidency of Joe Biden is now outside Iran and in full health, and he thanked Tehran for this action as a “sign of goodwill.”
Mizan News Agency, affiliated with Iran’s judiciary, however, reported: “Trump is in a miserable condition and needs to make an achievement out of anything. Even the exit of an Iranian-American citizen from the country.”
