🔶 CENTCOM: 99 ships have been diverted within the framework of Iran’s maritime blockade

American forces have announced that Iran’s maritime blockade is still ongoing and that by Friday, 20 Shahrivar (11 September), 99 commercial ships have diverted in order to fully implement the restrictions.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said in a message on the X platform sent on Friday evening, 11 September, that the “USS Boxer” aircraft carrier and its accompanying forces are still participating in U.S. naval operations against Iran.

According to CENTCOM data, the blockade and the diversion of commercial ships continue. This action by U.S. forces is being carried out while the Islamic Republic of Iran is facing severe economic pressures and growing restrictions on its trade and exports.
