🔻According to Saudi officials, as a result of drone and missile attacks by Yemen’s Houthis, some energy facilities in this country have halted operations.

Saudi officials say that more than seventy people have been injured, and that fires have broken out in several places, including the “King Khalid” military airbase, “Abha” International Airport, and facilities belonging to the state-owned oil company “Aramco” (in the cities of Abha and Jizan).

The Saudi-led coalition, which is fighting against the Houthis in Yemen, has pledged to respond firmly to these attacks.

The decision was taken after days of intense fighting in Yemen.

Earlier, Yemen’s Houthis said that in response to what they described as more than 120 attacks by Saudi Arabia on Yemen over the past three days, they had fired dozens of drones and missiles at economic and military targets in Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis, who control Yemen’s most populous areas and a large part of the north of the country, have carried out attacks against this country since announcing a maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia in July, targeting its ships in the Red Sea.
