A study from Tel Aviv University shows that 1,370 doctors have left Israel between 2023 and 2025.
Based on this study, 416 doctors left Israel in 2023, 530 in 2024, and about 419 in 2025.
Eytai Atar, a researcher, told Haaretz that economists had warned since 2023 about the departure of skilled labor in the wake of government policies.
He added that the trend began with judicial reforms and worsened after the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack and the war.
