A night flight by an American E-11A aircraft en route to Europe and the Middle East has drawn attention.

This aircraft is not an ordinary plane; the E-11A is considered one of the most important U.S. airborne command, control, and communications platforms, and it is used to coordinate complex military operations on the battlefield.

In major wars, before the skies of the region become filled with fighters and missiles, the command-and-communications network is activated. This aircraft was also used earlier during the 40-day war, where five of them were employed in operations.
