Five Iranian fishermen who had been involved in a judicial case in this country for more than three years on charges of illegal entry into Pakistan’s waters and related matters concerning fishing were released and returned to Iran on Saturday morning, 13 Tir. The arrest of Iranian fishermen in Pakistan is usually carried out after fishing vessels enter the waters of this country; in cases like this, files are registered under titles such as illegal entry into Pakistan’s waters or fishing without a permit. After consular follow-ups and the conclusion of the legal process, these five fishermen were released from prison and returned to Iran.
