🔶 Wall Street Journal report: Secret attacks by Bahrain and Kuwait on Iran
The Wall Street Journal reported that Bahrain and Kuwait earlier this month secretly dispatched their fighter jets to attack targets inside Iran; an action described as the first direct attack by these two countries on Iran.
According to the Wall Street Journal, these attacks targeted drone-holding centers, missile depots, and some other Iranian military facilities.
Based on informed sources, despite having a relatively small air force and fighter jets equipped by the United States and Europe, Bahrain and Kuwait did not want to leave Iran’s attacks against them unanswered.
The report says that Oman and Qatar have, for years, pursued a balanced policy between Iran and Western countries, and have not shown much willingness to engage in direct confrontation with Tehran.
The Wall Street Journal also, citing its own sources, reported that Saudi Arabia, which had joined the attacks by the United Arab Emirates against Iran in the early stages of the war, is now re-evaluating its position.
