The UK Maritime Trade Operations Organization said it has received a report about an incident involving an oil tanker and military forces in the Gulf of Oman.
Based on this statement, the incident report was dated Friday, the second of Mordad, and the identities of the military forces, the name of the tanker, and its condition have not been announced.
A few hours earlier, the Embassy of India in Tehran had reported an attack on a liquefied petroleum gas ship with 28 Indian crew members, but the nature of the incident had not been specified.
The U.S. Central Command had also previously said that, within the framework of the naval blockade of the Islamic Republic’s ports, for a second consecutive day it had disabled an oil tanker carrying oil from the Islamic Republic in the Sea of Oman.
In recent days, the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps has also claimed responsibility for attacks on several commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.
