Turkey’s Ministry of Defense spokesperson, on Thursday, the 26th of Shahrivar, said at a press conference that his country condemns the attacks by Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia in recent days.

Admiral Zeki Aktörk noted that such actions, which threaten regional stability, must be stopped as soon as possible.

He said that the threat posed by the Houthis, which continues in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, has affected not only regional security, but also international maritime trade and global stability.

In recent days, the Houthi rebels supported by the Islamic Republic carried out attacks on economic infrastructure and non-military areas in Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia also reported on Wednesday, the 25th of Shahrivar, a Houthi drone attack on the city of “Mecca,” which was thwarted by air defense.
