🔶 Trump: U.S. attacks have largely taken Iran back to the Stone Age

Donald Trump, the U.S. president, said in an interview with the media outlet “Newsmax” that “the power of the Iranians has been taken from them to a large extent.” He added, explaining the damage inflicted on the Islamic Republic: “Now there are things left for them, but most of it has been destroyed. For example, their army had 159 ships; and each of those 159 ships is now under the sea.”

Trump went on to claim: “They had 200 aircraft; all of their aircraft have been destroyed. Their radars have been destroyed, their air defenses have been destroyed, and their ability to build weapons has also been destroyed by about 84 percent.”

He said: “So they are a very different country compared to four months ago.” Trump claimed that the U.S. brought the Islamic Republic “back to the Stone Age to a large extent within four months.”

Trump added: “However, they still have some missiles and little capabilities, but to a large extent they have been returned to a different era.”

The U.S. president said: “Iran was the bully of the Middle East, but it wasn’t supposed to bully me.”
