The U.S. ended its 8th consecutive night of attacks against Iran
Tampa, Florida — U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), by order of the commander in chief, at 11:30 p.m. on July 18 Eastern Time (07:00 Iran time), brought another round of attacks against Iran to an end.
On the 8th consecutive night of U.S. attacks, CENTCOM forces successfully targeted coastal monitoring facilities, air-defense positions, naval capabilities, and sites used for storing Iran’s missiles and drones in order to further weaken the country’s military capabilities. American forces also targeted positions of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces, which had attacked U.S. personnel in Jordan on July 17.
More than 50,000 American military men and women across the Middle East are carrying out missions and continue to do so with vigilance, focus, readiness, and full combat capability.
