Telecommunications retirees in Kurdistan take to the streets again;
Retired telecommunications workers in Kurdistan Province, continuing their ongoing trade protests, gathered again and protested the continuation of living hardships, unpaid back wages, and disorder in supplemental insurance.
The protesters emphasized that the implementation of the 89/24 bylaw and the full payment of claims from previous years still remain unfulfilled, and that the telecommunications company must answer for its financial obligations.
They also accused the company’s major shareholders, including the Executive Headquarters and the “Etemad-e Mobin” consortium of the IRGC, of not carrying out their commitments to the retirees.
