🔻Some Iranian media have reported that Sohrab Baḵtiāri-zādeh, the coach of Esteghlal, has permanently left out Saleh Hordani, the captain of the Blue-and-Whites, because of his protest against his decisions in Derby 107.

It had been reported yesterday that Saleh Hordani is currently not allowed to train.

🔹In the 69th minute of the derby, Saleh Hordani insisted more than the rest that he take the set-piece, but Sahrab’s choice, like the other set-piece attempts in the match, was met by Yaser Aasani.

🔹A video released from the game shows that for the first time, Saleh reacts to this selection with “Come on, Dad!” but afterward, from the Esteghlal bench, he says: “Let’s take it; he’s scoring 10 of them against defense!”

🔹Mohammad Taqvi, Iran International, on the Hattrick program, said that Sohrab Baḵtiāri-zādeh could have dealt with his team captain in another way: “This behavior is not worthy of the team captain.”

🔹Yesterday, Saleh Hordani, through stories on his Instagram page, tried to appease Baḵtiāri-zādeh and other Esteghlal players, including Yaser Aasani. Also, in one story, Aasani emphasized his good relationship with Hordani.
