❗Russia's Federal Security Service has detained a Moldovan citizen for attempting to assassinate a high-ranking military official in the Saratov region.

The suspect, recruited by Ukrainian intelligence, arrived in Russia in June 2026 and reportedly agreed to carry out the killing for $70,000.

The Investigative Committee plans to petition for his arrest as he has given detailed testimony confirming the plot.
