🔶 Risk of execution order for Mahdi Jafari, detained during the protests of December 1404
Concerns about the risk of execution for Mahdi Jafari, one of the detainees of the protests in December 1404 in Isfahan, have increased.
Mahdi Jafari, who is also known as “Mahdi Khosrovi,” is among the defendants in a case known as the “Shuhada Square of Isfahan” case. Along with nine other citizens, he was sentenced to death in the first stage by Branch One of the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan.
Human rights organizations have expressed concern about the process of handling this case, the charges brought, and the status of the defendants.
