🔻Rezaul Karbegandi, a veteran of Iranian football, in an interview with the Ana News Agency, with strong criticism of Tractor Club’s position in the case of the match between this team and Gol Gohar and of Hossein Khatdad Azizi’s heckling, said: «The club’s support for the out-of-bounds and controversial conduct of the team manager is the peak of disaster. When unprofessional and insulting behavior by officials is endorsed, it shows that our football has completely moved away from ethical grounds.»
🔹Karbengandi also spoke about Hossein Khatdad Azizi’s recent behavior and said: «Hossein Khatdad Azizi has been a great player, but his tensions are not limited to one or two occasions. His national record and the respect that his status commands should not be used as a means to humiliate others or to justify mistakes; especially since he is now in the position of team manager, and must be a behavioral role model for his organization.»
🔹Referring to the ineffectiveness of the current bans and financial penalties, Karbegandi also said: «The decisions of the Disciplinary Committee do not have a deterrent effect, and nobody is afraid of suspension anymore. Leniency by the Federation and expediency-based decisions have led to the spread of unethics and crude language in stadiums. Officials must, once and for all, without consideration and without ties, take a decisive approach.»
