🔺 Pakistan strongly condemned the Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia

▪ Pakistan’s prime minister strongly condemned the “overt” attacks on Saudi Arabia on Monday evening and called them a violation of this country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

▪ In a statement on Tuesday, Shehbaz Sharif described these actions as “despicable” and having the potential to further weaken peace and stability in the region, and said Islamabad stands “in this sensitive period in full solidarity with the brotherly monarchy.”

▪ The statement was issued one day after the Yemeni Houthis launched missiles toward Saudi territory, accusing Riyadh of bombing Sana’a airport.

▪ Pakistan and Saudi Arabia signed a strategic defense agreement in September 2025, under which an attack on either of the two countries is considered an attack on both.
